The Process: A Kundalini Training Module 3
THE MASTER’S TOUCH: MECHANICS OF THE MEDITATIVE MIND

Saturday, April 27th, 2019 (3:30-8:30 PM)
House of AUM Yellow Springs

“If you feel you can’t believe anybody or anything, fine. Don’t. Instead believe in yourself. Wake up and go deeply in yourself. Master the mind. Get to the essence and process of your own life.”
– Yogi Bhajan

Meditation is the most intimate act you can do, it is even more intimate than making love with someone. When you regularly meditate, you create pathways for training the mind, then the passageways for the soul to communicate opens wider, deeper and more expansively. According to the yogic sciences, there are coded patterns and configurations for specified effects (the same way a car has a gas petal to “Go!” and a brake petal to “Slow down!”). This is why breath patterns, mudras, mantras, specific movements, eye focus, timing, and duration (consecutive days) matter.

In this condensed 5-hour training module, these topics will be covered:

* Cycle of the Intellect—how your desires speak to the Universal Mind.

* The codes: language for pranic intelligence.

* The Meditative Mind and developing “special powers.”

* Sodarshan Chakra Kriya (the “King” kriya meditation).

* Mul Mantra (mantra for leverage; to lift one from a projected fate to an elevated destiny).

We’ll practice a very meditative Kundalini Yoga kriya that works on your refinement and subtlety. This kirya helps you to see the sublime interplay of life, what is really happening beneath the surface. We’ll briefly break over some avocado toast and sprouts with warm vegan soup, before regrouping for our final two meditations. These key meditations are ones every Kundalini Yoga practitioner should have some experience with. An original mini-book explaining material from this training will be provided.

This training is part of a greater 4-module training (The Process: A Training for Practicing & Preparing to Teach a Kundalini Yoga Kriya, The 10 Bodies & the Anatomy of Sadhana, The Master’s Touch: Mechanics of the Meditative Mind, and The Science of Sound & the 11th Embodiment). Each module counts as 5 contact hours, and is available for Continuing Education credits with Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of all 4 modules, a verifying 20-hour completion certificate will be sent to each participant. (Note: this training is not part of the requirements for KRI’s Level One program to become a certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga, and does not provide eligibility for IKYTA membership.)

5 hrs training + mini-book + avocado toast & soup = $150
